AIDOT announced that it won first place in the medical technology (MedTech) category at the annual awards ceremony of the International Trade Council (ITC), the “Go Global Awards,” held on October 14.
A total of 4,372 companies from around the world participated in the preliminary round for this awards program, and only 781 companies advanced to the final round. AIDOT won joint first place in the MedTech category together with a U.S. company. However, among the 2021 Go Global Awards winners, AIDOT was the only Korean company.
The Go Global Awards is an awards program that encourages the development of innovative, unique, and forward-looking companies and celebrates business achievements.
According to the ITC, being nominated as an award candidate alone can help raise brand awareness, promote a business to new customers, and improve marketing reputation by differentiating it from competitors.
The awards ceremony is attended by hundreds of senior executives from major global innovative technology companies, manufacturers, exporters, international service providers, venture capital firms, and financial institutions.
Jang Jeong-yoon, team leader of AIDOT’s Global Marketing Team, said, “We are pleased to have taken first place in the MedTech category at a credible international event,” adding, “Following this award, inquiries are underway regarding full-scale entry into North America through joint investment. We feel proud that AIDOT has been recognized on the global stage as a Korean medical AI company.”
