AIDOT’s AI Cervical Cancer Screening Solution “Cerviray AI” Wins 1st Place at 2020 Northeast Asia Innovation Forum & IR Roadshow Hosted by Dalian Development and Reform Commission, China
AIDOT (CEO Jung Jae-hoon), an AI medical ICT company, announced that its AI-based cervical cancer screening solution, Cerviray AI, received first place at the 2020 Northeast Asia Innovation Forum & Project IR Roadshow held on October 15.
The event was jointly hosted by the Incheon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Korea) and the Dalian Science & Technology Innovation Entrepreneurship Service Center (China), and was part of China’s “2020 National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week”, featuring a keynote speech by Premier Li Keqiang.
Among the six Korean and two Chinese companies that reached the final round, AIDOT’s Cerviray AI was recognized for its excellence. The solution aligns with China’s government women’s health policy (“Women and Children Development Priority”) and was praised for its potential to integrate efficiently and innovatively into China’s cervical cancer screening system, which currently relies primarily on cytology-based testing.
The Chinese judging panel highlighted the importance of high-quality AI data validated by medical professionals and noted that AIDOT’s dataset already incorporates opinions from leading Korean physicians, greatly enhancing its value. They also expressed hope that this Korea-China joint research solution could become a successful case study in preventing cervical cancer among Chinese women.
CEO Jung Jae-hoon said:“Winning first place objectively proves that AIDOT’s technology and business model are well-aligned with the Chinese market. This demonstrates that AI medical ICT models achieve global competitiveness when strong business models are combined with differentiated AI technology.”
AIDOT is actively commercializing Cerviray AI in Shenzhen and Beijing, and plans to leverage this recognition to accelerate investment and global expansion.
