AIDOT Inc., a South Korean company specializing in AI-based medical solutions, participated in the 21st Gangwon Medical Device Exhibition (GMES), which opened on September 18 at the Wonju Medical Device Industrial Promotion Center in Gangwon Province. The company showcased its key AI diagnostic products.
This year’s GMES, the largest edition to date, featured 139 companies and organizations and over 160 international buyers.
According to Gangwon Province, GMES began in 2006 under the name “Gangwon Medical Plaza” and has since established itself as a leading export platform, consistently achieving new records in export contracts. Last year, the exhibition set a new milestone with $24.69 million in export agreements.
At the exhibition, AIDOT displayed its core and next-generation products, including its AI-assisted cervical cancer early screening solution Cerviray AI, urinary stone diagnostic support URO dot AI, and the upcoming AI-based otitis media diagnostic solution ECHO dot AI.
Already commercially deployed in healthcare settings, Cerviray AI and URO dot AI attracted significant attention from international buyers. The next-generation ECHO dot AI also received strong interest from attendees.
AIDOT representatives commented, “GMES serves as Gangwon’s premier export business platform and provides a vital opportunity to connect with global buyers. This exhibition allows us to showcase AIDOT’s AI medical technologies and expand our international partnerships.”
The company has recently accelerated global expansion into Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Central Asia, while also advancing research and development of next-generation AI solutions.
Additionally, AIDOT continues efforts to provide screening solutions usable in regions with limited medical infrastructure, aiming to deliver accurate and rapid diagnostics for patients and convenience and efficiency for healthcare providers.
