AIDOT Co., Ltd. announced on January 24, 2024, that it has obtained a US patent for its flagship product, "Cerviray," specifically for its “Uterine Cervical Image Acquisition Apparatus.” Following domestic (Korean) registration, the technology is now also patented in the US, strengthening AIDOT’s market influence regarding its AI-based cervical cancer diagnostic assistance system. The registered patent relates to a cervical imaging acquisition apparatus capable of displaying and automatically diagnosing the presence of cervical-related diseases. With this US patent, the technology powering the Cerviray product—already in global service including Korea—is now protected in the American market as well. AIDOT has consistently filed for patents and trademarks to protect its AI medical device technologies and secure/expand its market presence, while simultaneously achieving sales growth through global market entry. CEO Jaehoon Jung of AIDOT commented, “Already since last year, we have confirmed that Cerviray can be covered by insurance claims through FDA approval and CPT application. We expect that this US patent registration will further accelerate our US business.” Meanwhile, AIDOT participated in the RSNA2023 exhibition in the US last year, showcasing, in addition to Cerviray, products like SONO dot AI and URO dot AI, further ramping up their entry into the US market.
