AIDOT (CEO Jeong Jae-hoon) announced on the 8th that it completed regulatory registration of its AI-based cervical cancer interpretation system “Cerviray A.I.” with Vietnam’s Ministry of Health on the 6th.

In Vietnam, it is reported that 2,223 people die from cervical cancer each year, and 37.7 million women are at risk of cervical cancer. However, the cervical cancer screening rate is only 6.5%, raising the need for more effective screening adoption.

Since the beginning of this year, AIDOT has worked not only on solution verification and clinical work with Vietnam’s Ministry of Health and local partners to secure Cerviray’s regulatory registration, but also in collaboration with local health organizations.

AIDOT said, “With the completion of regulatory registration with Vietnam’s Ministry of Health, partners across Vietnam—including Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi—are proceeding with importing Cerviray. We expect it to be adopted by at least 1,000 hospitals next year,” adding, “In particular, our goal is to have Vietnam’s national insurance reimbursement applied in the first half of next year, and the process is progressing very smoothly. We will do our utmost so that Cerviray can make a major contribution to women’s health in Vietnam.”
