AIDOT, an AI medical company, announced on the 27th that it introduced Cerviray, its AI-based remote cervical cancer interpretation system, to health authorities and medical staff in Bolivia in South America, and discussed plans to introduce screening through the KOICA Creative Technology Solution (CTS) program.

The company explained that through meetings with Bolivia’s Ministry of Health, El Alto Korean Hospital, and local women’s hospitals, it assessed the current status of cervical cancer screening services in Bolivia and highlighted the need for a screening program through a product introduction and demonstration of Cerviray.

An AIDOT representative said, “We plan to complete AGEMED certification in Bolivia within the first half of this year, and since meetings with major local medical device companies have all concluded positively, we expect successful commercialization in the local market within the first half of the year.”

The representative also said, “Because Cerviray, which is based on VIA testing, can be used without special medical infrastructure, it is expected to enable cervical cancer screening to be conducted quickly and easily in Bolivia’s poor medical environment and make a significant contribution to cervical cancer prevention.”

Through this KOICA CTS program, AIDOT plans to provide devices to Bolivia worth approximately USD 1 million when converted to the global final consumer sales price, and to run a free screening program locally.
