Buzzpole CEO Jeong Jae-hoon emphasized, "This is not simply a mechanical algorithm that detects abnormal images at high speed. Rather, it is an algorithm developed based on expert knowledge and verified data from university hospitals, based on clinical standards applicable to colposcopy worldwide. Furthermore, because it was designed to learn the diagnostic methods used by experts, it is an AI-based screening assistance solution that can be trusted and utilized by all healthcare professionals worldwide, including not only doctors but also nurses, midwives, and those who perform colposcopy (in overseas cases)."
Buzzpole also revealed that during the difficult times in China, a key target market, Buzzpole independently procured medical protective clothing and exported over 400 million won worth of it to the Wuhan and Hunan provincial governments. This strengthened their relationships with Chinese investors and government officials, further elevating Cerviray AI's presence in China.
Buzzpole Marketing Director Park Won-jun stated, "Simultaneous exports are planned not only in China but also in Southeast Asia, Europe, and the US. We have already been in constant contact with companies interested in collaboration and adoption, and full-scale export negotiations have begun based on this certification. In particular, with FDA approval expected within two to three months of European CE MDR certification, Buzzpole's AI technology is poised for global recognition and expansion."
Buzzpole announced that it expects to generate over 10 billion won in sales this year alone, with its CervirayAI product and the AI-powered stroke medical solution it is jointly developing with Hallym Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital. By demonstrating a positive example of Korea's Fourth Industrial Revolution, Buzzpole will serve as a wake-up call for the domestic medical AI diagnostic market, which has become a money game.
As part of this effort, Buzzpole will participate in the Korea International Medical Equipment & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES) next month with the Korea University Medical Center Industry-Academic Collaboration Foundation and invite existing overseas partners to begin full-scale export efforts.
