Simultaneous Pursuit of Technology Validation and Commercialization in Mexico and Chile
AIDOT Co., Ltd. (CEO Jae-hoon Jung), a medical AI imaging analysis company, announced that its AI-based cervical cancer diagnostic Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS), Cerviray AI, has been selected for the 2026 1st Phase of the Innovative Product Export-Led Pilot Procurement (Overseas Demonstration) project by the Public Procurement Service (PPS).
According to the PPS announcement, Cerviray AI was included as a key product, specifically meeting the demand for "AI-based cervical cancer diagnostic software for public health institutions in Mexico and Chile."
With this selection, AIDOT plans to proceed with a step-by-step overseas demonstration process in collaboration with the requesting institutions in Mexico and Chile.
Cerviray AI is currently the only cervical cancer AI diagnostic device registered as an Innovative Product by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE).
AIDOT views this overseas demonstration as a critical turning point that will go beyond simple technology validation and lead to actual adoption and large-scale commercialization.
Cerviray AI is an AI-driven diagnostic support solution that scans the cervix, automatically flags suspicious lesions, and provides a four-stage classification of the findings.
In particular, it features an On-device AI reading method, allowing results to be checked without an internet connection. This design enhances its utility in field environments with varying medical infrastructure and operating conditions.
Based on this demonstration, AIDOT aims to refine its application models for local institutions and simultaneously drive both overseas validation and commercialization through partner collaborations.
An AIDOT official stated, "This matching is significant as Cerviray AI’s competitiveness aligns perfectly with the needs of public medical institutions in Mexico and Chile. We will thoroughly verify its performance and usability during the demonstration and translate these results into tangible commercial success in the local markets."
