Medical AI company AIDOT announced on the 2nd that its AI system technology for remote cervical cancer diagnosis has been selected for the “Top 100 Outstanding National R&D Achievements 2021.”

This selection is an annual program that recognizes outstanding technologies to enhance public understanding and interest in science and technology that has driven national development, and it has continued since 2006.

AIDOT’s remote cervical cancer diagnosis AI system, “Cerviray,” is the world’s first solution to apply AI to the VIA method, which morphologically assesses whether there are abnormalities in the cervix.

Through joint research with the obstetrics and gynecology departments of Korea University Anam Hospital and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, the system demonstrated performance of 93% sensitivity and 89% specificity.

Cerviray AI enables immediate testing without building separate infrastructure.
