Professor Song Jae-yoon of Korea University Anam Hospital presents the effectiveness of AI-based cervical cancer screening


Medical AI solution company AIDOT (CEO Jeong Jae-hoon) announced that it participated in the 1st INASMEET (The 1st Indonesian Society Gynecologic Oncology Scientific Meeting) international academic event.


Held over two days from November 12–13 at The Stones Hotel in Bali, Indonesia, the 1st INASMEET is an international academic event where gynecology specialists from Indonesia and abroad take part to exchange academic成果 and information on the latest international trends.


AIDOT attended the event together with its local partner PYRIDAM Farma, showcased its Cerviray product, and during the General Gynecologist & General Practitioner Session on the 12th, Professor Song Jae-yoon of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Korea University Anam Hospital introduced the effectiveness of Cerviray, which combines VIA and AI, under the topic “Cervical Cancer Screening with VIA and AI.”


Next, local Indonesian gynecology professors Tofan Widya Utami and Laila Nuranna of RSCM Hospital presented under the topics “The Challenge of Cervical Cancer Elimination by 2030 in Indonesia” and “Cerviray Session,” respectively, proposing Cerviray as a cervical cancer screening method in Indonesia and receiving a strong response from medical staff at the venue.


Jeong Jae-hoon, CEO of AIDOT, said, “Cerviray received expectations and 관심 from many local medical professionals as a next-generation cervical cancer screening system that will open a new era in Indonesia,” adding, “Rather than staying where we are, we will continue developing solutions that help clinicians make faster and more accurate diagnoses.”

Meanwhile, on November 7, AIDOT’s “AI-based cervical cancer diagnosis system global commercialization” was selected as one of the 2022 National R&D Top 100 Outstanding Achievements.

Since its founding in June 2014, AIDOT has been recognized for its technological capabilities, including being selected for KIC China and various government projects. It developed the AI-based cervical cancer interpretation system “Cerviray A.I.” and is expanding into global markets centered on Southeast Asia. It also co-developed an AI-based interpretation system combining carotid ultrasound and genomic information with the Department of Neurosurgery at Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital, and it has completed development of an AI diagnostic system for gastroenterology integrating gastroscopy, capsule endoscopy, and colonoscopy.
