AIDOT (CEO Jung Jae-hoon), a company leading the development of innovative AI-based medical solutions, announced that it received the Prime Minister’s Award at the “Medical Device Day” event hosted by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) on May 26, 2023.
To mark the 16th Medical Device Day, MFDS held the event to recognize and award individuals and organizations that contributed to medical device safety management and the broader industry, while also encouraging sustained corporate growth and increased exports through the development of medical devices and AI software.
AIDOT was recognized for its contributions to opening overseas markets for Korea’s AI technology and for supporting job creation through continuous hiring.
The company noted that it previously received a Ministerial Award from the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) through the Pre-High-Growth Club program in 2020, and has pursued an innovative business model that combines medicine and AI to help overcome barriers such as cost, facilities, and workforce limitations, enabling patients to access healthcare services with fewer constraints.
In particular, AIDOT was selected as an award candidate in recognition of its strength in global expansion, ultimately receiving the Prime Minister’s Award.
AIDOT added that since its establishment in June 2014, it has been recognized for its technological capabilities through selection for various government programs, and is entering global markets quickly with multiple AI-based medical screening systems.
