AIDOT (CEO Jung Jae-hoon) announced on August 17 that a patent application related to Cerviray AI filed in Japan and Indonesia has been successfully registered under the title “Automatic Cervical Cancer Diagnosis System.”
The company explained that the patent covers an automated cervical cancer diagnosis system in which AI software analyzes and classifies the severity of cervical cancer based on captured images, thereby supporting physicians’ diagnostic decisions.
An AIDOT representative said, “This patent relates to the configuration and operation of the Cerviray AI system,” adding that AIDOT is effectively protecting its technology by completing patent registrations not only in Korea but also in China, Indonesia, and Japan.
According to the company, AIDOT is currently at the stage of receiving registration decisions for Cerviray-related patents across major countries through PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) international patent filings. The company said it is expanding globally while broadly protecting the unique characteristics of AI-based lesion analysis and diagnostic support software in the cervical cancer screening field.
An AIDOT representative added that the company is pursuing a strategic, country-by-country market entry approach through patent registrations and local clinical progress, and stated that the product’s technology and competitiveness are being recognized.
